General Information Clause

In accordance with Article 13, sections 1-2 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) – hereinafter referred to as the GDPR, we wish to inform you that:

  1. Purposes and Basis of Processing

Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of:

  1.  enabling participation in the 24th International Krutyn Summer School 2019 (actions taken at your request are necessary to secure your participation in the 24th International Krutyn Summer School 2019), because such data processing is necessary to fulfil the aforementioned purpose (GDPR Article 6, section 1, letter b);
  2. performing the Data Controller’s services – because processing is necessary for a legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6, section 1, letter f), namely the possibility to perform the Data Controller’s services;
  3. establishing, exercising or defending against legal claims connected with the concluded agreement or with the processing of your personal data – because processing is necessary for a legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6, section 1, letter f), namely the possibility to establish, exercise or defend against legal claims;
  4. fulfilling the Data Controller’s legal obligations stemming from the relevant laws – because in this case processing is necessary to fulfil legal requirements that the Data Controller is subject to (GDPR Article 6, section 1, letter c).

 

  1. Categories of Recipients of Data

The recipients of your personal data may include: 

  1. the Data Controller’s contractors;
  2. entities authorized under the law (courts, state bodies);
  3. entities providing accounting, IT, marketing, communication and analytical services, legal and debt collection services;
  4. subcontractors and other entities with which the Data Controller cooperates;
  5. authorized financing and/or co-financing entities.

 

  1. Right to Withdraw Consent

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time by sending such a request to the Data Controller to the following e-mail address: iod@ichf.edu.pl, or to the Data Controller’s correspondence address. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing which was carried out on the basis of your consent prior to its withdrawal.

  1. Data Transfer Outside the European Economic Area

The Data Controller does not transfer your data outside the European Economic Area. 

  1. Data Storage Period

The Data Controller will process your personal data for the purpose of:

  1.  enabling participation in the 24th International Krutyn Summer School 2019 (actions taken at your request are necessary to secure your participation in the 24th International Krutyn Summer School 2019)
  2. establishing, exercising or defending against legal claims connected with the concluded agreement or with the processing of your personal data - until such claims fall under the statute of limitations;
  3. fulfilling the Data Controller’s legal obligations – until the legal obligation to store the data expires.
  1. The Date Object’s Rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have:

  1. the right to request access to and obtain a copy of your data;
  2. the right to rectify (correct) your data;
  3. the right to erasure of your data (if there are no grounds for personal data to be processed, you may demand their erasure); 
  4. the right to restrict the processing of your data (you may request the processing of personal data to be limited to only storing or performing agreed activities if the data possessed is incorrect or is processed unjustifiably; or if its erasure is not possible due to the need to establish, investigate or defend any claims);
  5. the right to personal data portability (the right to receive personal data provided on the basis of consent in a structured, commonly used machine-readable format; or you can have it sent directly to another entity);
  6. the right to file a complaint to the relevant authority (if the data is processed unlawfully, you can file a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office or another competent supervisory authority).

  1. Information on Voluntary Provision of Data

The provision of data is voluntary, but is necessary to enable you to take part in the 24th International Krutyn Summer School 2019.
